Amanda, the sweater is really beautiful! I am surprised with what happened at Magknits. I don't think you should give up because you really have a talent for designing. Are you going to make the pattern available? I would really love to knit it!
Maybe you can do a paid download through your blog?
Oh, and your daughter is beautiful. You better watch you - you will be fighting the boys off with sticks!
Bummer! I still the sweater is beautiful!!! Don't let this stop you from submitting things-you've got too much talent!!
I think the pattern is beautiful. Don't you dare stop designing. You have a gift. You should definitely do something with Lemonade. I would love to knit it.
By the way, I agree with yarn it. You better lock that girl up, she's gorgeous!! =)
The pattern is beautiful! I'm so surprised that it didn't get chosen. Maybe another month, another magazine? You do great work!
I love it, too. Please publish it yourself!
I can't imagine why Lemonade wasn't selected--it's beautiful! Maybe they had too many patterns to choose from.
Don't give up, though, you're too talented for that.
Bummer about MagKnits. But it's a great looking sweater (with a beautiful model).
I also wanted to post a comment to let you know that your pattern really has a lot of potential. You have definite talent and should try again to publish for sure!
I second what everybody said! The only reason I can think of why they didn't use it is because it looks abit like one of the others they did publish. Their loss.
I think it's lovely! I'd been looking forward to seeing it on Magknits after Sunshine (which I adore, by the way). It's their loss, for sure. Keep at it!
This is another great pattern! I'm sorry to hear about the Magknits problem, but don't give up designing - things can only get better!
You're in now! Great pattern, thanks for sharing it with us. Many regards from Denmark
