sane self: ah, just five weeks till Mother's Day
cocky self: yeah I know! I Finished BOTH of my first skeins yesterday!
sane self: that's greaaat, but how long have you worked on Clapotis? a month? good job. at that rate you should be finished by MIL's birthday. in September.
cocky self:but I have only been working on the other since Saturday...
sane self: and you have what? 11 skeins left...you better hope you don't mess up...you know you just have to knit a little over 3 skeins a week to finish them both.
cocky self: I can do that! I will be a knittin monogamous!
sane self: *sigh* you have two projects, that would be a bigamist...
cocky self: oh yeah, right.

I love the raglan shaping, cause I hate seaming things... so very pretty, and I am sure Trucker Mamma will love the way this one feels. I am finding it is much easier to knit something for someone else knowing it is not my size... (the first is much closer to the actual color)

I was lured by the Sexy Knitter's Club to knit the Somewhat Cowl although I knew from first glance it was not really for me. After seeing it time and again, I realized it would be perfect for Trucker Mamma. Knit Picks Shine (cotton/modal) color Orchid (also perfect because The Gaming One grows orchids).
